Blue Skies…

I was very sad to hear that author and Bomber Command veteran Carlton Younger had passed away very recently.

Carlton, a former RAAF Navigator with No. 460 RAAF Squadron (Wellingtons), was an ex POW who was a very talented illustrator and author in his own right. I met Carlton whilst assisting The Aviation Bookshop and Fighting High Publishing at several Bomber Command book signing events during 2013 where he was signing copies of his his wonderfully illustrated new book “No Flight From The Cage”.
