Test Pilot Legend

A very special guest and living legend… Guest of honour at The Aviation Bookshop stand at the Duxford Flying Legends Airshow over the weekend of the 12th/13th July was legendary test pilot Captain Eric ‘Winkle’ Brown. He was present to sign various books including Grub Street’s ‘Arrival of Eagles’. I’m avid collector of flown covers and discovered that I had in my collection the one pictured above. As the cover was celebrating one of his many achievements he very kindly signed it for me!
